It has been some time since we've had discussion on Ride Etiquette and an article in today's Cycling News prompted me to look through the Ride Etiquette for South Perth Rouleurs (which the article referred to as a great example).
I've heard many good things about South Perth Rouleurs in recent weeks from people who ride with them and in relation to a recent vehicle / cyclist accident. The SPR Etiquette covers many aspects and sets an admirable standard that I think we should aspire to.
Please take the opportunity to read through the SPR Ride Etiquette:-

The following items in particular resonated with me:-
Ethos: Remember… our actions as individual riders reflect upon (the group) as a whole
The Basics: Be on time; and Maintain your bike in good order
(the time to check your bike is before the scheduled ride start time)
